Provide technical guidance for capabilities and microservices Apply Now Description The Leidos Spial Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a senior DevOps Engineer to assist with the development, integrion, deployment, and sustainment of mission critical systems th enable NGA's Geospial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission collecting sciences, technology and tradecraft measuring and modeling the Globe to provide three-dimensional accuracy of every point in, on, or above the Earth. Work onsite from Alexandria, Chantilly, Gaithersburg, or St. Louis, while enjoying up to half‑time telework to keep your week balanced and productive. Primary Responsibilities The primary duties will be to support the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment.  Extensive experience designing, implementing, and securing virtual networks within AWS Experience implementing VPC network connectivity Experience diagnosing and resolving VPC connectivity issues Develop, upde, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy docker containers Review code within Git and extract/cree engineering documention as needed Support Developer deployments Provide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservices Support Developer testing in the environment Cree and Maintain DevOps documention Conduct Security remediion as needed from scans Other tasks as assigned Basic Qualificions Typically requires a BS in Informion Systems, Informion Technology, Computer Science or closely reled discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility, and ability to obtain a Polygraph after hire Must be a U.S. Citizen Proactive self-starter demonstring a positive, willing titude and excellent oral and written communicion skills. Understanding of custom code development/reviews Experience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scripting Experience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormion, S3, ECS, EKS) Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API geway, load balancing, autoscaling) Experience supporting development testing Experience with cloud-based architectures Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflow Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices Team Collaborion tools (Jira, Confluence) Preferred Qualificions Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Experience with GitLab CI/CD Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECS Experience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containers AWS certificion (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) Linux certificions Experience with ArcGIS or geospial technologies If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
