Collaborate with teams to develop new and more efficient methods Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented ETL Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.   The ETL Developer will support mission-critical da operions by designing, building, and optimizing large-scale da ingest and processing solutions in a Big Da environment. This role focuses on enabling reliable, performant da pipelines th support analytic and operional needs across the full da lifecycle.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designing and implementing large-scale ingest systems in a Big Da environment Optimizing all stages of the da lifecycle, from initial planning, to ingest, through final display and beyond Designing and implementing da extraction, cleansing, transformion, loading, and replicion/distribution Developing custom solutions/code to ingest and exploit new and existing da sources Working with Sponsor development teams to improve applicion performance Organizing and maintaining documention so others are able to understand and use it Collaboring with teammes, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new and more efficient methods   Minimum Qualificions: High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in da engineering, software development, and/or programming experience. Software development experience, to include significant Java development, da analysis/parsing, and SQL/dabase experience Experience with the full da lifecycle, from ingest through display, in a Big Da environment Experience with Java-reled technologies, such as JDK, J2EE, EJB, JDBC, and/or Spring, and experience with RESTful APIs Experience developing and performing ETL tasks in a Linux environment   Preferred Qualificions: Experience with Hadoop, Hbase, MapReduce Experience with Elasticsearch Experience with NiFi, Kafka, and Zookeeper   Clearance Requirements: An active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position   Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50% Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions Must be able to exchange accure informion in these situions Apply Now
