Participate in code reviews and deploy code to various environments Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Applicion Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA   The Applicion Developer will be dediced full-time to development and enhancement support for existing applicions as well as new development.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designing, programming/developing, and modifying software systems, applicions, and tools, both existing and potentially new in the future Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints Collaboring with teammes, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new program feures Developing unit and integrion tests, in addition to participing in functional and regression tests to ensure programs will produce the desired results and th instructions are correct Correcting errors by making the approprie changes and then re-checking the program to ensure the desired result was produced.  As well as,  reviewing help desk messages periodically and working with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues Participing in code reviews by reviewing and incorporing feedback from teammes as well as providing feedback to others based on existing standards and recommended programming practices. Deploying code to development, test, and production environments using existing DevOps infrastructure/tools   Minimum Qualificions: High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in the Informion Technology field Strong Java programming/development skills, with hands-on experience Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular Experience with, or knowledge of, the Spring Framework and RESTful services and SQL, ORM libraries such as Hiberne/JPA Experience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source code   Preferred Qualificions: Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communicion to multiple stakeholders Experience with, or knowledge of, Elasticsearch Experience with, or knowledge of, best practices for developing secure web applicions   Clearance Requirements: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph   Physical Requirements: Use hands to opere a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculor, copy machine and computer printer. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50% of the time Apply Now
