Provide input to test and system documentation and build roadmaps Apply Now Description Leidos is seeking an Automed Test Engineer to support a government contract in the Nional Capital Region (NCR).  The ideal candide will be able to develop test programs to support automed test systems to test hardware primarily using LabVIEW and/or Python.  The Automed Test Engineer will be responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creing and maintaining software applicions, and applying frameworks involved in software releases to support automed testing of hardware.   Primary Responsibilities: Develop and/or modify testing scripts to autome testing and valide testing sufficiency Maintain hardware and software associed with the automed testing systems Recommend and implement improvements to existing automed test systems and protocols Support a software configurion management system for automed testing Maintain system architecture to ensure versility and consistency across multiple plforms Train and assist other users with development of an automed plform training encompassing automed and manual execution of test protocols as applicable Provide input to test and system documention, improvements to capabilities, build roadmaps, and upde software as required Upde or develop the documention when necessary to support automed testing including but not limited to: Test and inspection requirements Multimedia documention of the automed test system System documention for hardware and software where applicable to the automed test system Updes to test program style guide, GUI development, and architecture for existing and next generion test and measurement systems Attend meetings and reviews Communice with internal team members across multiple areas, the contract PM and customer team members Communice with external parties such as sub-contractors, mission partners, and vendors  Required Qualificions: Must have a TS/SCI with Poly; may consider a candide with a TS/SCI for upgrading Bachelor of Science degree with least 8 years of relevant experience. 12 years of work experience can be used in lieu of degree/combined with educion Demonstred experience using LabVIEW and/or Python to develop automed testing scripts Demonstred experience/training in the operion of electronic devices such as transmitters, receivers, power supplies, and audio/video recorders Demonstred experience in maintaining automed testing systems Demonstred experience with commercial test equipment from Agilent, Keysight, HP, Tektronix, and Nional Instruments to include power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, counters, power meters, signal & waveform generors, electronic loads and audio, noise, signal, modulion and power analyzers Demonstre strong written/verbal communicions, problem solving, organizional and interpersonal skills including willingness and ability to document and share informion Able to work well in a team environment and as an individual contributor Desired Qualificions: Knowledgeable of electronics and electrical engineering principals (voltage, current, RF) Experience with manual test and inspection (T&I)  If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
