




Summary: Seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and support various IT environments in a fast-paced MSP setting. Highlights: 1. Certification support and professional development Key Responsibilities - Provide Tier 1–2 technical support (remote and on-site) - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues - Assist with user onboarding/offboarding (accounts, permissions, devices) - Support Windows servers, workstations, and Microsoft 365 environments - Monitor systems, alerts, and backups - Document issues and resolutions in a ticketing system - Assist with networking tasks (VPNs, firewalls, switches) - Support projects including migrations, upgrades, and security improvements Required Qualifications - 1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience (MSP preferred) - Experience or familiarity with N-able N-central (RMM) - Basic VoIP knowledge (call quality, devices, or softphones) - Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server - Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy - Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration - Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - Experience working in a ticketing system / PSA tool - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications - MSP experience - Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms - Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions - Experience with endpoint security tools - Experience with CCTV, access control, or low-voltage systems - Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, MS-900, or AZ-900 What We Offer - Competitive salary (based on experience) - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) - Paid time off and holidays - Certification support and professional development - Growth path into System Administrator or Engineer roles Work Environment - On-site role in the Chicagoland area - Fast-paced MSP environment supporting multiple clients - Collaborative team with mentorship from senior engineers How to Apply Submit your resume along with a brief summary of your experience and interest in the role.
