Supervise and train manufacturing teams We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineering / Supervisor to lead our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and electronics assembly production floor. This is a dual-role position requiring technical SMT expertise and strong team leadership. You will optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and supervise a manufacturing team to ensure high-quality production. Key Responsibilities Process Engineering & Optimization -Program, Set up, and optimize SMT lines. -Profile reflow ovens -Program (AOI) systems. -Minimize defects like tombstoning, bridging, and voiding. -Implement Continuous Improvement Supervision & Leadership -Lead daily shift huddles and assign tasks. -Train operators on manufacturing standards and safety. -Manage team schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations. -Ensure strict adherence to production schedules and deadlines. Quality & Maintenance -Help with root-cause/analyze production defects. -Manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for machinery. -Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IPC-A-610. Qualifications -Experience: SMT electronics contract manufacturing. -Leadership: 2+ years supervising -Technical: Knowledge of screen printers, Yamaha pick-and-place, and reflow. -Certifications: Current or prior IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 preferred.
