We are looking for a Level 2 or higher Support Technician, or a Level 1 Support Technician with at least two years of experience who is ready to advance to Level 2 or is already performing at that level. We pay competitively and reward performance. You need to be comfortable using AI tools without being dependent on them. Degrees We do not require a college degree or specific certifications, but we value them and they will be considered in the hiring process. The Hours Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Overtime is rare. After-hours and weekend work are uncommon. There is no on-call rotation. We are flexible with work hours. If you need to handle something during the week, you can make up the time or use PTO. We value our personal time as well as yours. Work Location This is an in-office position in Oregon City. Our office is close to good food options, has free parking, and is in a safe area. Qualifications We’re Looking For Valid driver license M365 administration Windows operating systems Active Directory and Group Policy management VMware and Hyper-V administration Networking: protocols, tools, troubleshooting, IP subnetting, VPNs, DNS Backup solutions: Veeam, cloud storage, disaster recovery Scripting: PowerShell or Bash for task automation Hardware: diagnose and repair PCs, servers, and laptops Soft skills: patience and empathy with customers Willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and follow procedures and instructions Use of AI We encourage appropriate use of AI tools and provide premium access. AI should enhance your skill set, not replace foundational knowledge. Pay We pay well, we reimburse aggressively, and we keep things simple. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour. Business travel using your personal vehicle is reimbursed at the current federal mileage rate. After your probationary period, you will receive a company gas card. It may be used for business travel and limited personal use as outlined in the employee handbook. Because business mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate and you may also use the gas card for business fuel, your work-related fuel costs are effectively covered twice. This is a meaningful financial benefit and one our team values. PTO starts at 6 days per year. Location You must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Oregon City so you can be in the office as required. The Work Initially, you will handle phone support using RMM tools. Standard MSP work: Outlook issues, VPN troubleshooting, user creation and deletion, assembling and deploying new computers. There is also fieldwork, primarily installing new systems. Physical Requirements Must be able to walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders, regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift 50 pounds. Must be able to talk, hear, use hands to handle tools and equipment, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, and kneel. Must have close vision and be able to use a computer monitor for extended periods.
