We're after a full time Manufacturing Engineering Technician to produce precision custom hardware parts using our state-of-the-art digital manufacturing system, and support our customers, full team and facility with your expertise. Experienced with various CAD tools and vector design software. Experienced operating CO2 & fiber laser cutters, with knowledge of multiple technologies including 3D printing, CNC machining, injection molding, etc. Someone with a background in hardware development or mechanical engineering. Someone who works harmoniously with your team members. Cool under pressure of our relentless stream of customer orders. ABOUT THE ROLE As our full time Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you'll turn our customer's CAD files into precision custom parts, as fast as same day. And support our customers, full team and facility with your expertise. Your typical day includes using our manufacturing software system and process to do the following, rotated to keep you fresh: Achieving 3 key goals - quality, speed & productivity. Laser cutting our customer's orders. Managing materials stock & suppliers. Finishing parts. Quality checking. Packaging & shipping. Supply chain management of third party suppliers. Working with our sales & support teams to ensure fast delivery of quality custom parts. Working with your production team members to keep things humming. Identifying problems with and improving our workflows to delight customers. Attending production team discussions. BENEFITS $30 - $40 per hour (based on your experience) / top 1% - 25% of market pay rate (payscale.com).
