This role is designed for a true hunter — a sales professional who thrives on winning new business, opening doors, and building long-term client partnerships in the third-party logistics space. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new customer relationships while strategically expanding existing accounts. You will leverage deep industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and a relentless drive to deliver transportation solutions that create measurable value for our clients. Success in this role requires strong closing ability, disciplined pipeline management, and the mindset to perform in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. What You’ll Do:  Aggressively prospect and secure new customers requiring 3PL services  Convert high-potential prospects into long-term, recurring clients  Build, grow, and maintain strategic relationships with existing customers to maximize account value  Identify opportunities to expand business within current accounts through additional services and lanes  Manage and advance a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools for lead tracking, calls, and opportunity management  Serve as a trusted transportation advisor, providing insight and credibility to customers  Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategy and drive revenue growth  Oversee customer onboarding, including contract negotiation, account setup, and operational handoff  Build strong internal partnerships to ensure seamless service execution and customer satisfaction What You’ll Bring:  Experience of proven success in high-performance B2B sales in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation  Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach  Leadership capability with experience mentoring or supporting sales teams  Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills  Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate independently  Experience working with transportation, manufacturing, distribution Benefits and how to apply:  Compensation: DOE  Weekly pay; direct deposit available.  Paid time off (PTO)  Typical work week is Monday-Friday Email your resume to HR@deltagov.com, in the subject line include “Account Payable Specialist (your last name)”
