Responsibilities: MV Transportion is seeking a Road Supervisor. The Road Supervisor will monitor street operions according to client, operions, and safety department requirements.      Job Responsibilities:  Conduct site checks and road observions according to client and local policy. Document findings accordingly and provide necessary reports to project staff.  Conduct wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness checks on in service vehicles.  Monitor street operions for on-time performance and schedule and route adherence.  Provide customer informion for site personnel and key locions.  Respond to accidents and incidents assisting to manage the situion as well as collecting all required informion, assist dispch and operions staff in resuming service levels according to contract specificions and minimizing passenger disruptions.  Accompany operors to medical facilities as required after accident or injury, ensure proper administrion of post-accident drug and alcohol testing.  Fill vacant shifts as necessary to ensure full service delivery.  Conduct ge checks pull-out or pull-in times ensuring on-time service and proper completion of necessary paperwork including manifests and pre- and post-trip inspections.  Identify potential rerouting required as a result of traffic, construction or accident situions.  Ensure th all operors are fit for duty, meet uniform and equipment standards and are in possession of proper licensing and certificions.  Assist operors with service or passenger problems.  Assist dispch and maintenance staff with vehicle change outs th occur in the field.  Provide feedback to safety and operions departments on service items th affect safety and performance, identify potential safety hazards and provide feedback to be incorpored into daily operions procedures.  Assist in determinion of preventability of accidents and incidents and make recommendions for future training based on individual events or on system trends.  Accurely document all field observions and ensure file maintenance.  Qualificions: Talent Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent.  Certificions according to local contract requirements.  Previous passenger transportion in current project or similar environment required.  Previous training and/or field supervision experience preferred but not required.  Excellent safety and service record.  Knowledge of local training program and local operions.  Familiarizion with service area.  Knowledge of client and service performance requirements.  Ability to manage emergency situions.  Knowledge of project specific vehicles, components and da/communicions systems.  Knowledge of Ste and Federal regulions and corpore safety programs and policies.  Ability to read, write and speak English.  Ability to communice effectively and work with all departments.  Ability to work independently and objectively.  Starting pay re: $24.21/hour   MV Transportion is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discrimine against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, nional origin or ancestry, sex, physical or mental disability, veteran or military stus, genetic informion or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, ste or local laws, regulions or ordinances.  The informion collected by this applicion is solely to determine suitability for employment, verify identity and maintain employment stistics on applicants.      Where permissible under applicable ste and local law, applicants may be subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check after receiving a conditional offer of employment.   #appcast   Apply Now
