Summary: This role involves warehouse customer service, assisting with flooring and lumber products, handling orders, and providing in-person and telephone support to retail customers. Highlights: 1. Training provided on product knowledge Job description Warehouse customer service /delivery . Our business sells flooring, moulding, stair packages, lumber, plywood and live-edge slabs. Training in regard to the products we sell will be provided, but experience in the lumber, flooring, and construction fields is a plus. You must be able to calculate board footage, square footage, and have a general knowledge of the various ways lumber, moulding, and flooring is purchased and sold. Other tasks include ordering and receiving materials, assuring orders are correct and system pricing is current, general warehouse duties, and providing customer service to to walk-in retail customers and assisting with inquiries on product selection, pricing, availability, and refund/exchanges in person or via telephone. The ability to safely offload trailers and load customer vehicles and lift up to 50 pounds is required. Prior forklift experience is not required, but is preferred. Good driving record required.
