About the Role Note: This role requires professional voice acting experience, as well as a professional recording setup and equipment. Babel Audio is seeking professional Spanish-speaking voice actors and actresses for a solo performance project. Your performances will be used to train AI systems in understanding and expressing human emotions. This is a character-driven, craft-oriented performance role requiring genuine expertise, and we have structured this project accordingly. You will receive a script and a scene summary, study the emotional context, and deliver a performance faithful to both the character and the moment. Scenes are specific and emotionally rich. You may portray: A girlfriend bidding farewell to her family, heart full of emotion A father holding his newborn for the first time, overwhelmed with feeling A shepherd spotting a wolf in the distance and springing into alertness to protect his flock A doctor, heart sinking, delivering the news of a patient’s passing to their family A runner, after years of training, approaching the finish line completely elated Recordings last under one minute. You decide which scripts to take and work entirely on your own schedule. Who You Are Native-level fluency in Spanish Professional experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, audiobook recording, or similar Ability to deliver expressive and immersive vocal performances across diverse styles and emotional registers Comfort interpreting a scene summary and working independently with minimal direction Compensation 60 USD / recorded hour for individuals based in Mexico Additional performance-based incentives may be available Technical Requirements Voice Quality: Clear, natural, and consistent voice. External Microphone: Preferably USB (or XLR; built-in, wireless, or Bluetooth microphones are not accepted). Recording Equipment: A computer or laptop is required (mobile phones and tablets are not accepted). Environment: A quiet space with no background noise and proper acoustic treatment to avoid audible echo or reverberation. Internet Connection: A stable connection for high-quality recordings.
