Responsibilities: MV Transportion is seeking an Assistant General Manager to provide support, leadership, and direction to assigned opering personnel to ensure delivery of the division's business plan in our fast-paced transit business. Job Responsibilities: Ensures performance indicors meet or exceed client and corpore expections. Ensures division goals and objectives are met or exceeded. Ensures subordine staff are well trained and are successful. Ensures all company policies and procedures are in place and being followed. Ensures the company vision, values, and culture are understood, communiced, and promoted throughout operions. Ensures liquided damages are kept to a minimum, and failures are corrected. Develop and maintain positive employee and labor relions. Directly oversees operions department managers. Trains and mentors a future successor for backfill. Successfully manages the Operions Department's annual budget. Assumes responsibility of the General Manager during his/her absence. Qualificions: Talent Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of steady, successful supervisory experience in public transportion with least five (5) years of ADA parransit operions management experience in a service with 150+ vehicles. parransit operions management experience in a service Certificions according to local contract as required. Knowledge of Ste and Federal regulions as well as company policies and procedures. Experience in development of runs, shift bids and run cuts. Strong organizional skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong communicion skills including written and verbal. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Strong supervision skills with ability to lead others to success. Ability to develop solutions to challenge through planning and implemention. Ability to write and speak English. High level of familiarity of Windows based computers and MS Office.
