Summary: This role involves managing award compliance, stewarding program staff through grantmaking, and developing grants/contracts management practices. Highlights: 1. Collaborate with Program Teams, Finance, and Legal for award compliance. 2. Develop and conduct training on grants/contracts management practices. 3. Support policy development and build effective relationships with staff. Manager Award Management Collaborate with Program Teams, Finance, and Legal to ensure award compliance with RFCC policies and IRS regulations. Steward Program staff through the operational end of the grantmaking and contract process. Review and execute requests for grant and contract extensions and amendments. Identify and flag complex grant and contract making scenarios for further review. Draft agreements in collaboration with Legal. Review grantee reports and deliverables for compliance. Prepare and conduct ongoing training on selected grants/contracts management practices for new and existing staff as needed. Support the Director with grant and contract management policy development. Build effective relationships with Program staff through training and collaboration. At the direction of the Director, work on special projects and in collaboration with other RFCC operations teams as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum of 7 years of experience in grant and contract management for a nonprofit, philanthropic organization, or educational institution. A strong understanding of contract management, compliance, and procurement. A strong understanding of grants management, compliance, oversight, and IRS rules governing grantmaking. Experience with Salesforce or other award management system. A solid working knowledge of regulations governing Public Charities.
