We are looking for a Concierge Security Officer to conduct a courtesy/parking patrol at an upscale, gated HOA community in North Mesa. It is a Swing Shift Mon-Fri, 6p-2a; and an 11-hour post on Saturday and Sunday, 3p-2a. Responsibilities will include the surveillance of the premises and the protection of the residents and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation and Customer Service. The goal is to help the Community in maintaining safe and problem-free conditions at the Clubhouse and its various amenities. The residents also expect a friendly, well-kept, helpful demeanor and a willingness to engage in a respectful professional manner. Responsibilities: • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area • Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation • Provide assistance to people in need • Check for key fobs when individuals are using the amenities • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

What We’re Looking For 1+ years’ experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance required within the last 10 years. 2+ years’ experience preferred. Applicants with trades experience will receive consideration. Must be well-versed in the unit turn process from start to finish. Must have experience in tracking and maintaining inventory. Must provide your own basic hand tools – the Company will provide power tools. Experience providing great customer service to residents and/or customers is required. Driver's license is required. CPO certification preferred. High school diploma or GED required.  Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficient in effective communication and teamwork. Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach. Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work. Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills. Your Role Must be able to exemplify and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment to evaluate quality of work. Assist in getting units “rent ready”. Abide by safety requirements at all times. Safely use chemicals and equipment as a part of everyday duties. Maintain grounds, work and storage areas and dumpster areas on a daily basis to ensure curb appeal up to company standards. Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely unit turnover. Ensure lawns are mowed and trimmed and entryways, walkways and driveways are blown and free of debris. Ensure equipment is serviced on a regular basis to maintain safe operations. Must be able to be on-call for emergencies or snow removal. Maintain and enforce all company policies and procedures as established in the Operations Manual.
