General Responsibilities for Assistant Manager (Carl's Jr., Sbarro, Del Taco): 1. Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, train, and develop team members to ensure high standards of performance. Lead by example to motivate staff, maintain a positive work environment, and ensure that employees understand and adhere to company policies. Ensure proper staff scheduling for shifts, managing staffing levels during peak hours. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and coach team members for improvement. Resolve conflicts or issues that arise among team members or with customers. 2. Customer Service & Satisfaction: Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently met by all employees. Handle customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and professionally. Interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience and encourage return visits. Monitor service speed and food quality to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize wait times, especially during peak periods. Ensure the restaurant meets cleanliness standards, providing a welcoming environment for customers. 3. Food Safety & Quality Control: Oversee food preparation and ensure all items are cooked according to brand standards, including portion sizes, cooking temperatures, and presentation. Regularly inspect food items for quality, freshness, and consistency, making adjustments when necessary. Self-Service Counter: Oversee the self-service counter area and monitor customer interactions to maintain efficiency and cleanliness. Pasta & Pizza Specialty: Manage inventory for pizza dough, cheese, sauces, and other fresh ingredients to ensure product quality. Speed & Accuracy: Focus on the drive-thru and counter service to ensure fast and accurate service, especially during busy hours. Cross-Training: Train staff to work efficiently in both kitchen and front-line customer service roles.
