We're a point of sale company looking for a Field Service Tech. We service the Phoenix Metro and surrounding areas throughout Arizona. You will travel from store to store (Grocery Stores) fixing their equipment. Including scanner scales, touchscreens, payment devices, self-checkouts, deli scales and similar. We prefer someone with technical experience who knows troubleshooting and basic networking, but if you are hobbyist or have applicable experience, we will consider you too. We're mainly looking for someone who works well on their own, is coachable and can maintain their focus despite distractions. There is a lot of driving with this job, so please have a good driving record, be able to pass a background check, and drug screening. Sounds great right? A lot of driving and working mainly on your own? Well let me share some challenges with you so I'm upfront. Job is basically 8 to 5 IF everything goes well. If it doesn't go well or if we get busy, you will get stuck at stores later than you would like. You will sometimes have to start earlier in the morning or start late for special projects, so you will need to be adaptable. Once you get comfortable, you and the other techs will swap availability on weekends. When you're available for those weekends, you will get called out to run emergency service calls, sometimes far away. You won't get called out every weekend, but it will happen. We also have each tech conduct Preventative Maintenance once a week at a store. That means cleaning out lane equipment, making sure inventory matches and catching any issues that may arise. Sounds like a lot, but once you apply yourself and learn your craft, you will be in and out of stores, and most days should be challenge free. Build and repair PC’s on and offsite. Repair operating systems. Troubleshoot and fix networking issues etc. Perform data cabling. Typical IT department work. Working knowledge of computer hardware. We have an immediate opening to join our team supporting our Patient Nutrition Management System called HealthTouch. HealthTouch is used in over 500 hospital diet offices throughout the US. HealthTouch is used to order, document, track, and manage the food ordering and production of all patients’ meals. All meal orders are entered in to the HealthTouch system and because HealthTouch is interfaced with the facilities ADT and OE system, HealthTouch is automatically updated whenever a new patient is admitted, discharged, or transferred within the facility. Patient’s dietary orders are also interface to allow the system to filter out the food items that are not permitted. Tray tracking, nutritional analysis, and order history are standard processes within HealthTouch.
