Love being around nature and keeping things looking their best? We’re looking for a Greenskeeper to help maintain our beautiful golf course and surrounding grounds in top playing condition. If you're reliable, hard-working, and enjoy physical work, this might be the perfect opportunity for you! 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: Golf Course Maintenance: Mow, trim, edge, and blow grass and turf areas Weed, rake sand traps, and install sod Plant and care for trees, shrubs, and flowers Turf Treatment & Landscape Care: Apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and lime as needed Perform weed and pest control Irrigate turf using hoses and sprinkler systems Till, cultivate, and grade turf for new plantings Daily Course Setup: Change cups and tee markers Refresh tee towels and clean ball washers Remove trash and debris to keep the course clean and presentable Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely operate utility vehicles, tractors, and power equipment Follow manufacturer’s instructions and safety standards for all machinery General Groundskeeping: Prepare new greens and repair roadbeds Trim and spray trees and shrubs Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment 💪 Physical Demands: Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and crouch frequently throughout the day Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a variety of outdoor weather conditions including: Heat, cold, humidity, and rain Occasional encounters with wildlife (e.g., bees, snakes, scorpions, spiders) ✅ Qualifications: Knowledge of golf course layout or the game of golf is helpful, but not required Must be able to operate trucks and motorized landscaping/golf course equipment Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols at all times Physical ability to handle labor-intensive tasks on a daily basis Note: This job description is not a complete list of all duties.
