Class A Route Driver Needed ASAP – Home Every Night, Weekends Off (Santa Fe Springs)

Amerivet Logistics is seeking a safe, experienced, dependable, and efficient CDL Class A truck driver. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Shift: Monday through Friday Start time: 11:30 am Route takes on average 10 hours to complete, avg 462 miles roundtrip Weekends and Holidays off (holidays are paid; in 2025 there were 9 paid holidays) Route: 1 stop: Santa Fe Springs --> Fresno --> Santa Fe Springs Light-touch freight. In Fresno, you meet another driver and swap trailers. Compensation: $24 per hour, overtime after 40 hours. Raise to $26.50 per hour after successfully completing probation (60 days). Safety Bonus of up to $0.04/mile paid monthly. (If full bonus is earned, payouts total approximately $380/month or $4500/year). Benefits eligibility (medical, dental, vision, life) after 60 days. Equipment: Conventional Sleeper Cab 53' Dry Van Forklift, Pallet Jack CDL Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure contents are properly loaded and secured in truck - Follow all required safety procedures - Communicate with dispatch as needed - Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip - Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean - Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered - Track and report working hours - Adhere to company rules and regulations - Comply with DOT regulations - Make safety a priority at all times - Forklift experience preferred but not required CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications: - Minimum age of 23 (insurance requirement) - Minimum three years licensed driving experience (Class C or higher) - Minimum of 6 months verifiable CDL work experience required - Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required - Must pass a pre-employment drug test - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time - Self-starter who works well independently - Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful If interested, please complete our screening questionnaire here: https://forms.office.com/r/mEZJWV8S8s We look forward to hearing from you!
