México! \nLa academia dura aproximadamente veintiocho semanas y tiene una jornada laboral de cuarenta horas semanales, con fines de semana y días festivos libres. El turno cambia según las necesidades de capacitación, desde turnos diurnos hasta turnos vespertinos. \n\nREQUISITOS \n\n Debe tener 21 años cumplidos antes de graduarse de la academia. \n Debe ser ciudadano de los Estados Unidos. \n Debe tener un diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente (GED). \n La visión debe ser igual o mejor que 20/100 y corregida a 20/30. \n Debe poseer o obtener una licencia de conducir de Nuevo México antes del inicio de la academia. \n Debe aprobar un examen escrito. \n Debe aprobar un examen de agilidad física: \n Agilidad Illinois: 18 segundos \n Flexiones: 20 repeticiones por minuto \n Abdominales: 32 repeticiones por minuto \n Carrera de 1.5 millas: 14:24 \n 300 metros: 1:07 minutos \n\nDESCALIFICACIONES \nSin condenas por delitos graves \nCualquier actividad criminal en la que el solicitante haya sido condenado, haya declarado culpabilidad o haya presentado una declaración de nolo contendere por un cargo de delito grave, o haya participado en un programa de desvío de procesos penales (PPP) por un delito grave cometido, será descalificado de forma permanente. Los arrestos por delitos graves serán evaluados caso por caso. \nViolencia doméstica \nCualquier condena por violencia doméstica. Los incidentes relacionados con violencia doméstica serán revisados caso por caso y podrían resultar en descalificación. \nConducción bajo la influencia de sustancias \nCualquier condena por conducir bajo la influencia de alcohol u otras sustancias en los últimos tres (3) años. \nHistorial de conducción deficiente \nUn patrón notable de multas de tránsito, arrestos y/o condenas en los últimos tres (3) años. Estos incluyen, entre otros: violaciones de semáforo en rojo, no detenerse en señales de alto, exceso de velocidad, conducción temeraria, conducción descuidada, etc. \nSin licencia de conducir \nLos solicitantes deben poseer una licencia de conducir válida. Los solicitantes de otros estados deben obtener una licencia de conducir de Nuevo México dentro de los treinta (30) días posteriores a su contratación. \nUso de marihuana \nSin consumo de marihuana en los últimos 12 meses. \nUso de drogas ilegales \nCualquier uso o posesión de drogas ilegales en el último año, o cinco (5) años en el caso de drogas duras como metanfetamina o cocaína, así como cualquier patrón notable de uso de drogas ilegales. \nHistorial laboral \nCualquier indicio de un historial laboral insatisfactorio. \nHistorial financiero \nCualquier historial de problemas financieros crónicos o recurrentes que indique una renuencia o incapacidad para vivir dentro de sus propios medios financieros (presentar quiebra por sí solo NO es una causa de descalificación). \nFalta de veracidad \nCualquier declaración falsa deliberada u omisión intencional o involuntaria de hechos en cualquier parte del proceso de selección. \n\nBENEFICIOS \nLa Oficina del Alguacil del Condado de Bernalillo es un empleador que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades y no discriminará contra ningún solicitante por edad, género, orientación sexual o raza.
