Opportunity to advance within company Security Field Supervisor – Wilmington, CA GSSi, Inc. $22.00 per hour | Company Vehicle Provided | Full-Time Location: Wilmington, CA Schedule Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Thursday: OFF Friday: OFF Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Responsibilities - Supervise and support security officers assigned to multiple client locations. - Conduct routine field inspections to ensure officers are properly uniformed, performing their duties, and following post orders. - Provide coaching, direction, and corrective guidance when necessary. - Respond to incidents, emergencies, client concerns, and operational issues. - Monitor officer attendance and staffing levels. - Assist with finding coverage for call-offs, no-shows, late arrivals, and open shifts. - Assist the Operations Department with scheduling and staffing needs. - Conduct patrol vehicle and equipment inspections. - Complete inspection reports, field activity reports, patrol reports, and incident documentation. - Utilize TrackTik to document field activities, inspections, incidents, and employee performance. - Communicate effectively with officers, clients, management, and the Operations Department. - Assist with training, orientation, and evaluation of new employees. - Identify and report safety hazards, security concerns, client complaints, and performance issues. - Ensure officers follow GSSi policies, BSIS regulations, site-specific post orders, and safety procedures. - Maintain a professional presence when representing GSSi at client locations. Qualifications - Valid California BSIS Guard Card required. - Valid California Driver’s License required. - Clean driving record required. - Minimum 2 years of security experience. - Previous lead or supervisory security experience preferred. - Experience scheduling security officers and arranging coverage for call-offs and open shifts. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to write clear, accurate, and professional reports. - Ability to effectively coach, direct, and hold employees accountable. - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. - TrackTik experience is strongly preferred. - Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary. - Professional appearance and demeanor. Additional certifications are a plus: BSIS Firearms Permit, Baton Permit, First Aid/CPR, or other applicable security certifications.
