As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Screening in Washington, DC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Re: $34.34 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 07:00 PMHow This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designed site and weekly shift th serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling plform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candides seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when approprie, emergency response activities a commercial real este locion. Screen and monitor incoming visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or personal property in accordance with site policies, while helping to support authorized access and documenting relevant activity. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communice with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed. Assist with badge, credential, and/or visitor management processes, answer questions, and direct guests to approprie areas while maintaining professional interactions. Conduct regular and random prols around the lobby, access points, business areas, and perimeter, noting security-reled concerns and reporting maintenance and/or policy issues to the approprie contact. Minimum Requirements: Be a gradue of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess a CPO certificion. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be least 21 years of age. Have 5 or more years of security-reled experience. Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associe degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certifice or a corrections academy certifice. Be least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
