ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be required as requested by Management.
Warehouse Associate:
-Must have forklift experience
-Assist Warehouse Manager in coordinating the most efficient unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality
-Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
-Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment
-Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Ensure all security policies and procedures are followed
-Follow all safety policies and procedures and conduct operations in accordance with OSHA Standards.
-Able to set priorities effectively
-Be fully flexible to work all days, all shifts.
-Must be flexible when asked to perform other job duties to include going out on jobs and assisting other members of the team, when needed.
-Must have a valid drivers license, Class C or CDL is a plus.
Experienced Movers
-Prepare and package loads.
-Examine customer paperwork to get assignments and directions on the type of equipment needed for the job, work hour requirements and completion time from dispatcher.
-Load moving pads and tolls to assemble and disassemble household goods furniture and/or office items into or out of truck for safe transport to customer residence or office.
-Carry furniture and other items such as boxes long distances, upstairs, downstairs and up and down hallways to either moving truck, residence or other office.
-Assist with assembling and disassembling of furniture or office equipment
-Stoop, bend and continually lift up to 100 lbs for long periods of time.
-Provide exceptional customer service during move, pack and unpack of household goods or office equipment.
-Other duties as assigned including helping in production operations as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
-Ability to schedule own tasks and handle all facets of assigned projects independently and with minimal supervision. (Time management)
-Ability to perform in-depth problem solving. (Problem solving)
-Apply effective communication and motivational techniques in supervising and counseling subordinates. (Communication
-Familiarity with personal computers and materials handling equipment is essential. (Technical knowledge)
Physical Requirements/Expectations:
-Frequent walking
-Frequent standing
-Frequent closing of dock doors
-Frequent pulling of dock plates
-Occasional lifting/pushing/dragging of product
-Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two years experience preferred.
