We're looking for a skilled sewing operator to repair and fabricate soft light modifiers: silks, scrims, fabric diffusion, leather corners, and hardware attachments. The work: Repairing tears, seams, and edging on studio fabrics and textiles Sewing and replacing leather reinforcement corners Attaching grommets, velcro, ties, and mounting hardware Occasional pattern work fabricating new pieces from templates You: Experienced on an industrial sewing machine, comfortable with heavy fabrics and leather Detail oriented, this gear goes back out to working studios Able to work independently in our Greenpoint shop Details: Freelance, part time, flexible scheduling $23/hr with potential for more work as volume grows No lighting industry experience required, we'll show you the gear
