Darling Ingredients is seeking Production Operators/Plate Freezer Operators to join their 1st and 3rd shift teams at their Mifflintown, PA location. In this role, you will be responsible for general plant labor, including operating machinery, forklift operation, grinder operation, housekeeping, cleaning, painting, grounds and general housekeeping in all areas of the plant. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to work inside and outside in hot and cold temperatures. Essential duties/responsibilities: General plant labor Utilize and operate a forklift Plate Freezer Operation Inventory counts Stretch Wrapper Operation Pressure Washer Operation Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc. Shovel and clean up spills in the plant Keep barrels emptied of trash and product Clean equipment from top to bottom Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains Paint as directed Perform other duties as assigned About the Company: We began as a family business in 1882 and have continued to grow into the world's leading innovative developer and producer of sustainable organic ingredients for a growing population.
