Work in a detail-oriented and professional laboratory setting Environmental Testing Laboratory located in Midtown Manhattan seeks candidates for a TEM analyst (Transmission Electron Microscopy) for overnight position to cover 24/7 business hours. Hourly/Salary will be determined Based on experience. The available position is : Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 6am. The candidate must be courteous, detail-oriented, well organized, and capable of working calmly in a fast-paced setting at times. The candidate must be professional, courteous, and well organized. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Sample preparation. Sample analysis. Maintenance, safety, and housekeeping. Participation in all Quality Assurance / Quality Control activities. Requirements: Hands-on experience (1+ year) in TEM Analysis. Knowledge and experience with Electron Diffraction and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis. Be prepared to complete a Demonstration of Capability during the interview - this will include a hands-on practical using a combination of proficiency and real world samples as well as a technical interview on Asbestos analysis theorem. Hourly/Salary will be determined Based on experience.
