As a Staff Engineer in Electronics – Embedded Firmware, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Kitchen and Bh products, including smart home connected devices. You will collabore with a talented, cross-functional global team dediced to launching industry-leading products th exceed customer expections. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving in-depth design and development, evaluing the technical feasibility of emerging concepts, and contributing valuable insights during Technical Design Reviews. This position offers the chance to bring creive ideas to life and make a lasting impact on product cegories across the board. Specific Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development, verificion, and maintenance of firmware to enable new Kitchen and Bh products. Work with cross-functional teams to develop system and firmware requirements for new products. Document these requirements appropriely. Support the maintenance and updes for existing products throughout the product life cycle. Develop and document system firmware architectures. Write firmware for use in device control systems, user interfaces, da acquisition devices, sensor interfaces and communicion modules. Support the verificion and release to production. Use tools such as emulors, debuggers, oscilloscopes to debug and verify proper operion of system firmware. Work in a team environment to develop firmware requirements, architecture, and structure. Work on special projects as dicted by the needs of the department. These projects will be technical in nure. Skills/Requirements 6+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer, or Computer Science Engineering. Expert level knowledge of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python. Demonstred experience in firmware design and documention practices. Demonstred experience in writing firmware for applicions incorporing RTOS. Demonstred understanding of object oriented programming. Experience with wired and wireless communicion protocols: RS485, BLE, WiFi, TCP/IP. Good understanding of Hardware including schemics and microcontroller based controls. Good organizional capability and high tention to detail. Ability to work on multiple tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision. The specific salary offered to a candide may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candide’s experience, their educion, and the work locion.
