Thrive in a team environment guiding complex mechanical solutions Apply Now Description Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a lead position in the design, development and integrion of shipboard mechanical systems and hardware for U.S. Navy plforms.  This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a team environment and can guide complex mechanical solutions from concept through fleet deployment. Primary Responsibilities: Develop shipboard mechanical hardware designs including enclosures, ruggedized COTS solutions, and electromechanical assemblies.  Develop 3D models and engineering documention.  Coordine mechanical interfaces between engineering and manufacturing teams Basic Qualificions Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or reled disciple 8 years of mechanical design experience with least 3 years supporting US Navy hardware Strong SolidWorks CAD Design skills Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Preferred Qualificions Strong experience in sheet metal, machining, and additive manufacturing techniques Strong experience with design for assembly and production processes If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
