We are looking for recent graduates as well as seasoned Geotechnical Engineers to help us with our projects. Position Job Title: Entry Level to Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer (B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D.) Location: Maui, Big Island and Oahu, Hawaii Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer • Be able to effectively communicate with all parties at stake including staff members, clients and contractors. • Can lift 60 lbs and work comfortably outdoors in a variety of conditions. • Be self-starter, take initiative and own the projects. • Help senior Engineer(s) to plan field Geotechnical Engineering investigation, • Supervise Geotechnical Drilling crew • Supervise Geotechnical Engineering technicians in the field and laboratory. • Conduct site reconnaissance, laying out borings, one-call tickets and preparation of field instructions. • Conduct field investigation such as logging test boreholes, collecting soil samples • Analyze soil properties and assess site conditions. • Ensure that project testing requirements are met and compliant with project specifications, requirements, and company policies or procedures. • Monitor, test and document earth construction activist such as excavation and grading and trenching. • Monitor, observe, test and document foundation constructions such as pile installation • Help to write Geotechnical Engineering reports Benefits: • Paid Vacations • 401K Plan • Health Insurance with Vision and Dental • Housing Allowance
