Background: As an industry leading manufacturer of engineered wood products, the Weyerhaeuser Product Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring code compliance and supporting the specificion and applicion of Weyerhaeuser engineered wood products. The selected candide will work under the supervision of a diverse team of engineers primarily dividing their time on product engineering issues th include resolving technical field questions, preparing code evaluion submittal documents, supporting industry activities and developing product specificion literure and structural design software. Other engineering responsibilities will include supporting laborory experiments and product manufacturing activities. The successful candide is one who displays a can-do titude in a dynamic work environment, is a creive self-starter th enjoys learning and problem solving, prides themselves on accuracy of work, and strives to cree an injury-free high productivity environment. A team player with strong inter-personal skills is essential. This position is loced in Federal Way, WA and may require some limited travel as dicted by assignments. Wh We Offer: Compension: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $69,300-$113,500 based on your level of skills, qualificions and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5-7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times th target.
