Job Description: Engineering Technician – Direct Hire Salary Range: $26.35–$38.46 per hour Locion: Northern New York / Vermont Region Manpower seeking an Engineering Technician II to support both office and field engineering work. In this role, you’ll assist with drafting, design, construction review, surveying, inspections, and project documention. This position is ideal for someone with solid technical skills who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and collaboring with engineers, contractors, and project teams. Wh You’ll Do Cree and upde drawings using CADD for wer and wastewer system designs. Research codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Support development of design documents, cost estimes, specificions, and reports. Visit project sites to document existing conditions and observe construction progress. Verify contractor work aligns with design intent and project specificions. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, improvement plans, and construction documents. Assist with drafting, engineering calculions, merial testing, and quantity measurements. Inspect construction projects and ensure compliance with standards and regulions. Collabore closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors. Serve as a Resident Project Representive as needed. Wh You Bring Knowledge of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and engineering mh. Understanding of surveying procedures and construction merials. Experience with drafting principles and CADD software. Familiarity with public works construction (roads, drainage, sewer). Ability to perform field measurements, calculions, and merial testing. Contract administrion knowledge (preferred for some roles).
