The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC cutting machines for fabric applications and be proficient in SketchUp. Experience with Rhino is a plus. This position plays a key role in ensuring precision cutting, efficiency, and high-quality marine canvas products. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Operate CNC cutting machines for marine canvas and upholstery projects • Prepare and optimize files using SketchUp (Rhino experience is a plus) • Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and patterns • Ensure accurate material layout and minimize waste • Maintain CNC equipment and perform routine maintenance • Collaborate with production and pattern departments • Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Complete production documentation accurately * Follow safety protocols and good manufacturing practices ⸻ Qualifications: • Proven experience operating CNC machines (fabric cutting preferred) • Proficiency in SketchUp (required) • Experience with Rhino (preferred but optional) • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements • Experience in marine canvas, upholstery, or related industry is a plus • Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Solid math and computer skills * Strong attention to detail and quality * Team player with good communication skills * Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods ⸻ We offer a drug free / non-smoking work environment.
