McCue, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Junior Program Manager. The Junior Program Manager supports the planning and execution of cross-functional projects, helping ensure alignment between teams, timelines, and deliverables. This role is responsible for assisting with tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting the overall program structure. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute cross-functional projects across the organization
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables with guidance from leadership
Track project progress, milestones, and key metrics to ensure alignment with goals
Maintain project schedules, documentation, and status updates
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate as needed
Coordinate communication between teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
Maintain process improvement initiatives and help implement more efficient workflows
Prepare reports, summaries, and updates for stakeholders
Maintain meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups
Work closely with team members across departments to support program success
Stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external clients
Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained
Product knowledge with clear technical understanding of services to be able to effectively communicate to customers
Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines
Outstanding attention to detail, flexibility and creativity
Persistence coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of shared information and/or assignments
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Organizational Development, or related field
1–3 years of experience in project or program management
Experience supporting cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Confluence)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
