Training and growth opportunity General Labor / Machinists: Automation Personnel Services is seeking General Laborers / Machinists to support tasks related to pipe manufacturing, handling, and installation. This position is physically demanding and requires individuals who can work safely around machinery, chemicals, and fiberglass materials. Pipe Pullers assist in moving, aligning, and preparing pipe sections, operate tools, and support production teams throughout the facility. Location: (Houston, TX, 77073) Pay: $13/hr to start → $15/hr after 90 days (eligible for direct hire) Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7AM to 7PM (or vice versa for night shift) (occasionally Sunday); 12-hour shifts (daily) and rotating shifts after 6–8 weeks. Job Responsibilities: Assist in pulling, moving, and positioning fiberglass pipe sections Operate hand tools and basic power tools as needed Support production teams with material and workspace preparation Follow safety procedures, including respirator and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage Maintain clean and organized work areas Perform repetitive physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Job Requirements: Willingness to work day or night shifts Willingness to shave / maintain a clean-shaven face due to respirator and mask requirements Ability to work 60 hours per week (overtime required) Ability to work in hot, dusty, or chemically exposed environments Be responsible and maintain good attendance No experience required — training provided Position Type: Full-time, Temporary with potential for permanent hire Benefits: Weekly pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40-hour service bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) retirement plan — Automation Personnel Services is the only manufacturing and industrial staffing agency that offers employer contributions to the 401(k) for all eligible temporary employees.
