Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA standards Job Title: Industrial Warehouse Technician – Conveyor Belt Measuring & Cutting Location: Merced, CA 95348 Job Type: Full-Time / Hourly Pay: $16.90/hr + Overtime Available Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support conveyor belt fabrication and handling operations. This role involves accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing conveyor belts to customer or project specifications in an industrial warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: Measure conveyor belts according to work orders, blueprints, or specifications Cut conveyor belt materials using hand or power tools Inspect materials for defects before processing Label, size, and prepare finished cuts accurately Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks if certified) Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA standards Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials Communicate with supervisors regarding orders or material needs Follow all quality control procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, rulers, calipers) Ability to read basic work instructions or drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain) Basic math skills (fractions, measurements) Work Environment: Industrial warehouse setting Exposure to machinery, noise, and heavy materials Fast-paced production environment with safety focus Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting, bending, and standing Handling heavy or bulky materials Repetitive measuring and cutting tasks
