Location: Denver Metro & Surrounding Municipalities Employment Type: Full-Time / Seasonal (Weather Dependent) Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience & certifications) Job Description Silva Construction, Inc. is seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers to support roadway, concrete, and civil infrastructure projects throughout the Denver metro area. Flaggers play a critical role in maintaining safe work zones for our crews, the public, and municipal partners. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, alert, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Control traffic using proper flagging techniques in accordance with MUTCD and ATSSA standards Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades, etc.) Communicate clearly with motorists, pedestrians, equipment operators, and crew members Remain attentive and professional at all times while on duty Follow all safety procedures and company policies Work closely with Traffic Control Supervisors and Project Managers Adapt to changing site conditions, traffic patterns, and weather Qualifications Valid Flagger Certification (ATSSA or equivalent) preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong attention to safety and situational awareness Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Construction or traffic control experience is a plus, but not required Work Schedule Monday through Friday (with occasional weekends) Hours vary based on project needs and weather conditions Seasonal layoffs may occur during winter months, with recall expected when work resumes Benefits Competitive pay Opportunities for overtime On-the-job training and certification support Steady work during construction season Opportunity to grow within a well-established construction company How to Apply Interested candidates may apply by submitting their resume or contacting Silva Construction, Inc. directly. 📞 Phone: 720-550-8175
