Opportunity to grow with an established company Centric Elevator is hiring a reliable, hardworking Shop Helper to join our team in Portland! This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working with equipment, and helping keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include: Driving a large company shop truck to deliver and pick up materials. Operating a forklift to load, unload, and move elevator equipment. Organizing the shop and warehouse. Receiving and stocking parts and materials. Keeping track of inventory and shop supplies. Moving equipment and materials for upcoming jobs. Assisting field mechanics with material staging. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable driving a large truck. Forklift experience is a plus (training available for the right candidate). Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and perform physical work throughout the day. Dependable, organized, and self-motivated. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
