This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working in an active, team-oriented environment. Must be willing to perform loading, unloading duties, cleaning tasks and operate some small machines, work around water preparing cargo and following safety guidelines. Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends while working in all weather conditions. Responsibilities What your day looks like as a General Laborer: Prepare cargo for loading/unloading Follow loading plans In the future possibly learn to operate small equipment as instructed WITH APPROVAL General housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environment Heavy lifting duties Observe all safety rules and use good safety work habits. Qualifications What we're looking for: Able to work around water Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly throughout a shift Attention to detail and safety protocols Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Able to present information in one-on-one group situations with fellow employees MUST have valid IDENTIFICATION to work in the US and a TWIC card.
