Work with stone and brick on residential projects Small masonry company is looking for a dependable mason laborer to add to our crew (one mason and one apprentice). If you are hard working, honest and take pride in what you do, this is a good opportunity to learn a demanding but rewarding trade. You will be asked to mix mortar, set up scaffolding, carry materials, do site prep and handle clean up, along with other tasks as needed. We work with stone and brick, so you must be comfortable working on scaffolding and roofs. Most of our work is residential projects throughout Tompkins county. Experience is not required I am happy to teach you as we go. The work environment is relaxed and friendly - I just ask that you take pride in your work and respect the people you work for and with. We work Monday through Friday starting usually at 8 a.m., aiming for an 8 - hour day but sometime we stay later to finish a project as needed. On few occasions we may work weekends if we miss work due to weather or other circumstances. Reliable transportation is required. We will be shooting for an April 1 start date weather permitting.
