Gain understanding of how careful assembly impacts sound quality We design and build high-performance audio systems — including custom amplifiers, DACs, power supplies, and streaming units. *** This is hands-on assembly work focused on building real working audio systems. *** You will assist in assembling and wiring high-quality stereo components and have the opportunity to experience immersive music systems that reveal extraordinary detail in recorded music. RESPONSIBILITIES *Assemble audio amplifier circuits * Assemble DACs and streamers using Raspberry Pi * Perform PCB population and soldering (primarily through-hole) * Wire chassis components and internal connections * Assist with clean layout and mechanical assembly * Follow the build documentation carefully * Perform structured basic testing using a multimeter * Assist in listening sessions comparing completed builds * Complete some remote work (prep, documentation, parts organization) => Must be able to come to Silver Spring approximately every other week.
