This is a flexible part-time position designed to work around a college schedule — or for someone already out of school looking for a well-rounded role with variety. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping computers, files, and day-to-day office systems running smoothly, while also helping bring creative design ideas to life for ongoing new construction and landscaping projects. Responsibilities • Provide hands-on tech support: troubleshoot computers, printers, Wi-Fi, phones, and common software issues • Help organize and maintain digital files, cloud storage, and backups • Set up and maintain office equipment and accounts • Fast, accurate data entry and document preparation • Assist the office manager with correspondence, scheduling, and filing • Support new construction and landscaping projects by: • Creating and editing SketchUp models and concept drawings • Researching design ideas, materials, and vendors • Organizing plans, photos, and reference files • Special projects and ad-hoc tasks as they come up Qualifications • Strong general tech skills — comfortable troubleshooting everyday computer and office tech issues • Core competency in SketchUp, or clear ability and willingness to learn it quickly • Fast, accurate typist (please mention your WPM if you know it) • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Dependable, discreet, and professional • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace • Interest in architecture, interior design, or landscaping is a big plus • Current college students welcome — we’ll work around your class schedule • Must pass a background check and sign an NDA What We Offer • Flexible part-time hours, including options around a class schedule • Pleasant, professional office environment • Variety of work — no two days are the same • Opportunity to build real skills in tech support, admin, and design software • Competitive pay based on experience To Apply Please reply with a short note about your experience, your typing speed (if known), and any exposure to SketchUp or other design software.
