You will support systems with significant importance to our customer while enjoying flexibility in how the job is done and having the opportunity to expand the breadth of your technical skills. In this role you will support the maintenance of classified Windows systems on a standalone network across CONUS with planned expansion. Responsibilities Configurion of workstions, servers and peripheral devices to include RAID configurions, BIOS configurions and Thin Client configurions. Configure and administer Windows Server Opering Systems including Group Policy Objects, Active Directory Users and Computers, DNS, Active Directory Sites and Services, WSUS, SQL, and IIS. Configure and administer Windows Desktop Opering Systems. Interact with staff for troubleshooting and system configurion requirements. Apply DISA Security Technical Implemention Guide (STIGs) for Windows Desktop and Server Opering Systems. Configure third-party software to function with existing systems in an offline environment. Maintain and configure backup solutions for the network. Assist the team with improving systems, procedures and documention for long-term sustainment. Monitor the health and security of the network using various tools such as Nessus, Splunk, and SolarWinds. Basic Qualificions Bachelor’s Degree in Informion Technology reled field with 4 years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree. DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 Certificion. Experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop products. Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls, security polices and general vulnerabilities management. Ability to communice detailed technical informion effectively verbally and in writing in support of troubleshooting and new implemention efforts. Must possess a current/active DoD TS/SCI clearance in order to be considered. Preferred Qualificions: Experience with or desire to learn:Virtualizion utilizing VMWare products. Linux Opering Systems. Network device configurion (i.e. routers, switches, firewalls). Dabase configurion (i.e. SQL, MongoDB). Executing site surveys and deploying hardware to new locions. Experience communicing and interacting with third-party vendors to purchase software licenses and equipment. Experience developing and deploying Splunk or SolarWinds dashboards.
