Serve as a senior resource and subject matter expert for Epic applications Apply Now Position Summary Serves as a senior Epic applicion subject mter expert responsible for the design, build, testing, implemention, integrion, and ongoing support of Epic applicions and reled operional processes. Works closely with operional leaders, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to develop solutions th support clinical, financial, and operional workflows. Leads complex projects, integrions, and system enhancements while mentoring junior team members and supporting organizional initiives. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a senior resource and subject mter expert for Epic applicions, workflows, integrions, and operional processes. • Independently manage Epic design, configurion, testing, implemention, optimizion, and support activities for complex initiives and integrions involving Epic and non-Epic systems. • Collabore with operional and technical stakeholders to analyze workflows, identify root causes of issues, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements. • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex tickets, enhancements, integrions, and cross-functional system issues. • Perform advanced Epic builds, configurions, customizions, and modificions including security changes, order sets, temples, scheduling logic, provider setup, and integred workflows. • Coordine and manage integrions with third-party vendors and internal applicions ensuring successful interoperability and functionality. • Participe in system upgrades, release management, integred testing, maintenance, and enhancement prioritizion. • Communice project updes, risks, milestones, and recommendions to leadership, operional teams, and end users. • Support user training efforts, develop training merials, and provide guidance to super users and operional leaders. • Mentor junior analysts and provide leadership on best practices, operional processes, and project execution. • Participe in professional development activities including Epic training, certificions, conferences, and industry forums. Educion • Bachelor’s Degree required OR • Associe’s Degree with 2 additional years of reled experience OR • High School Diploma/GED with 4 additional years of reled experience. Required CertificionsEpic Cadance Epic Referrals Preferred Certificions • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. • Additional ancillary Epic certificions. Required Experience • Minimum 3 years of Epic Cadance and Referral applicion support and/or implemention experience performing builds and configurions within targeted Epic applicions. • Experience supporting operional workflows, troubleshooting complex issues, system analysis, integrions, and user support. • Experience presenting technical informion to stakeholders and training end users. Preferred Experience • 5+ years of Epic Cadance and Referral applicion support and build experience. • Experience supporting hospital revenue cycle, pient scheduling, finance/billing, or reled healthcare operional areas. • Experience working as an Epic super-user or within healthcare operional environments. The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expection for this pay the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, educion, certificions, and a variety of other job-reled factors.
