Summary: Seeking a Software Designer to prototype a unique iOS Match 3 puzzle game, focusing on gameplay and level design modules. Highlights: 1. Build a unique iOS Match 3 style puzzle game prototype 2. Develop gameplay and level design modules 3. Potential for subsequent contract for the full game We are looking for a Software Designer to build a prototype iOS game. The game is unique, but draws heavily on established Match 3 style puzzle games. You will build the gameplay module for iOS: • Deployment of game pieces • Interaction based on the rules of the game • Removal of colored game pieces, and the replacement of subsequent pieces falling into place • Special game pieces (creation and activation) • Basic UI • Level completion or expiration (number of moves) You will also build a level design module that allows levels to be created on a Mac, and then exports the level data into the iOS prototype. Details: • We prefer to use Unity, but we are open to other options if they produce the results we need. • This build will have basic physics and animation, but the full game with animated characters and more elaborate visuals will be built after this prototype contract is completed. • Strong potential for a subsequent contract for the full game, based on the final deliverable of the prototype.
