Responsibilities: Responsible for in-depth analysis of user behavior, product performance, and market trends to inform business decisions and cross-functional initiatives. Duties include: conducting statistical analysis and extracting key insights on the e-commerce landscape and industry trends to evaluate the company’s competitive position; incorporating user research, market trends, and business requirements to offer strategic marketing and development plans; modeling and forecasting product performance to prepare proposals for new features; identifying and iterating solutions to reflect market shifts and user needs; identifying business-related issues involving uncertainty and implementing process improvement projects and data-driven solutions to improve metrics in resource-constrained environments; leveraging analytical dashboards and other business intelligence tools to measure performance and convey complex data insights to a wide range of audiences with clarity and structure; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Education: Bachelor’s* degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field (or foreign equivalent). Requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 3 years of experience working with SQL and dashboarding/BI tools; 3 years of experience leading process improvement projects and improving business metrics; 3 years of experience analyzing micro and macro economic data to draw key insights into consumer behavior and market conditions; 3 years of experience leveraging high volumes of data to improve user experience; 3 years of experience working in strategy and operations, product analytics, or management consulting environment; and 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and business plans, and evaluating trade-offs. *In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related, employer will accept candidates with no degree and at least 5 years of experience in the job offered or related, including 3 years of experience with each of the required special skills.
