Join us and be part of something extraordinary. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Cyber Security Engineer to join our Digital Assets Technology team. This role is loced in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Collabore with Cryptographers to build a highly secure and resilient crypto and tokenized assets custody solution. Implement and audit cryptographic code using secure coding practices in C/C++, Go, or Rust, ensuring resistance to known security tacks such as side-channel tacks. Perform thre modeling to anticipe and mitige potential tack vectors, conduct crypto security-focused code reviews, and design tests for vulnerabilities. Integre with blockchain nodes/APIs, understand blockchain transaction forms, and develop secure storage and networking solutions to support crypto custody infrastructure. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a reled field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of experience in high volume/low lency systems and plform ownership. Proven expertise in secure software development and cryptography engineering, including experience with cryptographic protocols and common security pitfalls. Proficiency in secure coding practices with C/C++, Go, or Rust, and familiarity with cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL or MPC-specific libraries. Strong knowledge of hardware security feures like Intel SGX, HSMs, and experience working with Trusted Execution Environments including remote testion. Experience with blockchain technologies, including transaction forms (Bitcoin UTXOs, Ethereum RLP) and integrion with blockchain nodes/APIs. Solid understanding of secure storage, dabases, networking (sockets, RPC frameworks), concurrency control, cloud security, and containerizion for deployment. BNY assesses market da to ensure a competitive compension package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $225,000 per year the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market locion, and is only part of the BNY total compension package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
