Responsibilities: - Design and implement automations for invoice intake, OCR, normalization, and approval routing - Build provisioning and order-management workflows that span vendor portals and internal systems - Develop reusable connectors for carrier portals, ERPs (NetSuite, SAP), and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) - Instrument every workflow with structured logging, retries, dead-letter handling, and SLOs - Partner with operations leads to translate manual playbooks into auditable software - Maintain automation libraries, code review standards, and runbooks Requirements: - 3+ years of professional experience building production automations or RPA workflows - Strong Python skills; comfortable with REST APIs, async I/O, and SQL - Hands-on experience with at least one RPA platform (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) or workflow orchestrator (Airflow, Temporal, Prefect, n8n) - Comfortable with Git-based development, code review, and CI/CD pipelines - Excellent written communication for runbooks and design docs - US work authorization required; able to overlap 4 hours/day with US Eastern Time Nice to have: - Experience working with telecom or IT vendor billing data - Exposure to document AI / IDP (Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract, Google Document AI) - Background in finance, AP automation, or procurement systems - Familiarity with low-code platforms (Power Automate Cloud, Make, Zapier) for rapid prototyping Benefits: - Annualized compensation benchmarked to top-quartile US remote part-time market rates - Healthcare stipend in lieu of group coverage; 401(k) participation with company match - Accrued PTO and all US federal holidays - Annual learning & certification budget ($1,500) - Home-office equipment stipend ($1,200) plus annual refresh budget - Quarterly virtual team offsites; optional all-expenses NYC HQ visits
