This is a paid internship with a defined start and stop time frame. For 28 years we have provided human based technical support and consultation on client technology needs. We offer turnkey and ongoing person to person support; our ideal intern would have an entry level knowledge alongside a drive to experience real world technology support. Tasks may range from assistance with desktop computers, printers, video, sound and phone systems. We support all desktop / mobile / cloud computing platforms. You would be working alongside support engineers on real world client needs. We’ve proudly earned our clients’ trust over the last quarter century. Our goal is to be available, knowledgeable and concise in our resolutions. Actual Intelligence supporting client solutions. Responsibilities: • Learn to provide remote support via voice, email & txt messaging to customers across the globe • Learn the basics of onsite support for customers in the Central Texas region • Experience the provisioning and deployment of new hardware and software systems • Actual device setup & testing alongside order fulfillment of client technology systems Skills: • Good listening and speaking skills, both verbal and written • Learn to provide and maintain detailed documentation • Learn to work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously • Experience positive and collaborative team relationships • Evolve problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines Qualifications: High school graduate that is currently enrolled in a Technology focused Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree program Working towards CompTIA A+ or Network+ Multi Language skills are welcome in our company Requirements: US Citizen or Equivalent work authorization. Many of our clients support multiple locations, some outside of Austin, some having global workers. This is a full time in office position with an approximate mix of 50/50 in our office and inside customer locations. Our job is our hobby and we love our work and treat our clients like family.
