Consult with clients to assess risks and demonstrate system functionality We are seeking a highly skilled consultant, Low-Voltage & Security Systems Technician, to lead the design, installation, programming, and maintenance of advanced security and networking solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, including governmental buildings, customs offices, industrial sites, and private residences. In this role, you will work with industry-leading hardware such as Hikvision, Axis, Dahua, Avigilon, Ajax, Bosch, and TP-Link to provide comprehensive security coverage. Responsibilities include designing, installing, and maintaining low-voltage security systems; determining system layouts and equipment placement; studying building plans to determine material requirements; drilling and feeding cables through various structures; programming and configuring system components; and maintaining accurate records of system configurations, installation procedures, and maintenance activities. You will be expected to consult directly with clients to assess risks, provide accurate cost estimates, and demonstrate system functionality to ensure optimal performance. Beyond physical installation, the role requires technical expertise in programming keypads, adjusting unit sensitivities, and diagnosing complex electrical or signal malfunctions. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who stays current with new product developments and maintains the high reliability standards required for sensitive environments such as hospitals and administrative offices, with strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
