Pay: $40–45/hour (based on experience) Los Angeles IT is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting small and mid-sized businesses throughout Southern California. We're looking for an experienced IT professional who enjoys both field work and hands-on technical projects. This is not a call-center or help desk-only position. Every day is different. One day you may be deploying Windows servers, the next configuring UniFi networking, migrating a client to Microsoft 365, troubleshooting Hyper-V, installing security cameras, or helping automate a customer's business processes. This position is approximately 50% remote and 50% on-site at customer locations throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and occasionally San Diego. Some days you'll work from home handling remote support and projects, while other days you'll be visiting client sites for installations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure work. Responsibilities On-site and remote IT support Windows Server installation, administration, and troubleshooting Hyper-V deployment and management Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP Network administration (switches, firewalls, VLANs, Wi-Fi) UniFi deployment and management Workstation deployments and migrations Backup and disaster recovery Printer and peripheral support Server and network rack installations Security camera and access control deployments Project work for new client installations and infrastructure upgrades Qualifications We're looking for someone with strong experience in several of the following: Windows Server Hyper-V Active Directory Microsoft 365 Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) Firewall and switch management MSP or Help Desk experience Hardware troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server (basic administration and troubleshooting) Bonus skills (not required): PowerShell SQL development API integrations Automation and scripting Python, C#, or other light programming VMware Azure VoIP systems Security cameras or access control Low-voltage cabling What We're Looking For Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication Ability to manage projects and work independently Professional appearance and attitude Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel throughout Southern California when needed.
